Trees with human breasts
site-specific installation, 2025
clay, water, and quartz - everything gathered from the site
work produced while in residency at Residencia São João, RJ, Brazil

The installation is made of sculpted clay breasts from the forest’s own soil integrated into the trees. The work questions the hierarchies that shape our perception of living beings. It aims to reveal the shared vulnerability and interdependence across species, while challenging anthropocentric narratives, and hinting that gender is a social construct.
